Le Shelby EDENROC Samui

This place was absolutely amazing. We had it recommended by friends who ate lunch here. Luckily when we checked our dates there was a bungalow available. Only 5 bungalows on the entire property - it feels so private and like the staff is looking after just you. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud- and I am super finicky about my beds!!! We didn’t want to leave. Breakfast was next level incredible, the pool is warm and looks like a sandbar, and when the tide is up in high tide season I imagine it comes right to the steps of the property. The manager arranged transport for us from the ferry and to the airport. Everything was easy, so so clean, high quality and close enough/far enough from town to just chill and relax. The sunset is unmatched from here. Thank you for everything.

We had a cottage just right at the beach, which was awesome! The cottages/rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The pool was very useful for us, as we came with a little baby. The staff was friendly and the food was alright. You can walk along the beach to fisherman‘s village (during low tight). The only minus point would be the walk to fisherman‘s village along the road. If you want to eat outside of Le Shelby you would have to take a 15 min walk to Fisherman‘s village.

Very friendly staff, comfortable bungalows and an overall very peaceful vibe. It’s a short 10 minute walk to fishermans village. The beach is a bit dirty but their pool area is nice.

A Hidden Gem – Azul Beach Resort and Restaurant We haven’t stayed at Azul Beach Resort and Restaurant, but we’ve had dinner here several times – and each time has been a delightful experience. The restaurant is a cozy little beachfront oasis, serving well-prepared, tasty food in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe is calm and personal. The beach cottages look clean, charming, and are located right on the sand – a perfect setting for a peaceful holiday. Highly recommended for a lovely dining experience and – judging by what we’ve seen – a quiet and well-kept place to stay by the beach.

Amazing place with amazing and kind staff. The food tastes fantastic and the vibe is always on point. Thank you to the manager Jo for looking after me and my friends and always being attentive. Will definitely come back!

Stayed here for the last 2 nights out of my 1 week trip in Samui. The beachfront villa was simply stunning, with a pool and breathtaking views of the nearby islands. Jo (Manager) and his staff were warm and attentive, and every meal I had was delicious and satisfying. The bed was wonderfully comfortable — the kind you sink into and forget the world, and the balcony was the perfect spot to take in the scenery. The bar had a laid-back, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind. Tucked in a quiet part of the island, it offered complete tranquility, yet it is only a short ride or casual walk from the Fisherman’s Village Night Market. It was the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and island charm. An unforgettable stay from start to finish.

A stay at Le Shelby comes with a lot of good features however there are a few things you need to consider when choosing this location. Let’s start with the good stuff. The hotel was recently taken over and they are putting great effort in revamping it. The starting point was already good as can be seen from the pictures but in the coming weeks they will enhance the experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful and make anyone feel welcome. The bungalows are nice and roomy with a simple but functional bathroom. The rooms are very clean and housekeeping takes effort in cleaning them. A noteworthy mention is the food. The owners have experience in the restaurant industry and it shows. All dishes we tried were well prepared, tasteful and made with fresh ingredients. They leave little to be desired and even are worthy of stopping by just for a tasty meal. With a small pool and of course beach closeby it is a good place to visit with a family. Kids will enjoy the pool area despite it’s somewhat smaller size. Now l would be amiss if not to point out a few feedback items. We were staying in the last bungalow “Peony” this one is situated at the end of the property and is adjacent to a lively beachclub, which seems to rely on the power of their music volume to attract customers. In itself not an issue because normally around 8pm they turn the volume down unless there is a party which happened during our stay. Apparently the electricity is run of a generator because the lights in our room where dimming with the beats of the music. We didn’t mind it that much but it is good to be aware of the fact that you are not in a serene remote bay, you’re close to where the action is as on other side of the hotel there is another beach club with the same approach to attracting visitors, loud music beats. Again if your into that scene you are in the perfect spot but if you’re looking for some quite time and enjoy the, by the way, absolutely breathtaking views don’t be disappointed if they come with a beat! Finally one small feedback point on the bungalow we were staying in. It comes with a very cute balcony and small sand patch before it. You will not be able to enjoy it that much because there is a water drain just beneath it which at times doesn’t smell too nice. I believe this can be fixed and it should be. All in all we can recommend a stay at Le Shelby based on the nice rooms, friendly service and great food but keep in mind the lively environment and you will have a great time!
